ACT aims to help the individual clarify their personal values and to take action on them, bringing more meaning to their life in the process. ACT bolsters a client's psychological flexibility to help "just notice," accept, and embrace life events.
Our mindfulness-based therapy sessions aims to develop a more mindful and caring relationship with ones self and others. We utilize mindfulness-based techniques to help clients improve emotional regulation, reduce stress, and bolster their self-awareness and acceptance.
CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions(such as thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes) and their associated behaviors to improve emotional regulation and develop personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
Person Centered therapy is known for utilizing “unconditional positive regard” which involves empathy, nonjudgmental listening, and positive self-regard instilled in the client. The client is viewed as fully possible of growth and as a “good” entity with the authority for himself.
